Soldarini XPS C117 Blob & Stillwater is a barbless wet fly hook for tying Blobs and other modern stillwater fly patterns. Wide gape is ideal for tying dense and thick bodies without reducing the hook's abilities for proper hook up. In addition to stillwater flies, this hook can be of course used for tying flies for river fishing.

Soldarini XPS hook collection is made in Japan and they are designed for competitive fly fishing. These fly hooks have extremely sharp, eagle beak chemically sharpened point which guarantees a perfect hold. Compared to SFT hook models, XPS hooks have slightly brighter finish and higher quality. The XPS hooks have larger package size, containing 25 hooks per package.

We have checked the compatibility with Hareline's Slotted Tungsten Beads, but the chart can be used for other manufacturers' beads as well. Please note that there might be variation in regard of bead size and slot size between different manufacturers, so we are not able to guarantee the compatibility in those cases. Fly pattern and the desired weight of the fly also affect on choosing the correct bead size. In some cases you may choose even smaller or larger bead size.
