One-hand Fly Rods

Single hand fly rod is the most popular and common fly rod type. One-hand rod is versatile choice for fly fishing at both river and stillwater/saltwater. #3-5 weight rods are usually used for dry fly fishing, #2-4 for nymphing, #6-8 for streamer & salmon & seatrout & saltwater and #9-10 for pike. Single hand rods are manufactured mainly in 7-11 feet length, standard length being 9 feet.
