Partridge K4AY/SE Grub & Buzzer Straight-Eye is a barbless hook with curved shank. It has a super wide gape which makes it ideal for tying thick bodies. Wide gape also allows the use of larger bead sizes without decreasing hook ups. Standard wire is suitable for wet flies and also for dry fly patterns that are designed to float low. Use for larvea, pupae, emergers, shrimps & scuds and other insect imitations where curved shank gives a nice look.

We have checked the compatibility with Hareline's Slotted Tungsten Beads, but the chart can be used for other manufacturers' beads as well. Please note that there might be variation in regard of bead size and slot size between different manufacturers, so we are not able to guarantee the compatibility in those cases. Fly pattern and the desired weight of the fly also affect on choosing the correct bead size. In some cases you may choose even smaller or larger bead size.
