Vision XO Reel – A premium reel requires a world-class brake, plenty of line capacity, a light but still solid construction and last but definitely not least a unique design to separate it clearly from all the other reels on the market. Those were our main objectives when we set out to do just that with our novel XO fly reels.

Light large-arbour reel with a well tested brake design and super cool outlook is our new premium product to complement nicely for example our top of the line XO fly rods. 5/6 and 7/8 have sealed disc brake with stainless steel & carbon discs. All moving parts are greased with SKF's water resistant bearing grease. 7/8 has full body rim for those who like to use thin monofilament runninglines.

Six different models:

• XO #5/6: Best option for normal river fishing. Disc brake. Available in titanium, black and orange colors.
• XO #7/8: Especially suitable for lake fishing, heavy streamer, single-hand salmon and pike fishing. Full rim. Disc brake.
• XO #8/9: 89 size was made to the family for heavier single hand rods as well as switch rods. With thin backing and monofilament running line it has enough capacity even for smaller double handers. The brake system is a slightly tamed version of the bigger and more brutal 910 & 1012 reels (read below) allowing us to make ideal weight reel for the purpose with big enough maximum brake power. The reel’s frame and spool are machined elegantly thin for weight reduction but the wine glass look construction itself makes this reel super rigid.
• XO #9/10 & #10/12: XO reel’s stunning look fused with XLB reel’s bombproof & powerfull brake. The brake mechanism has been used for over 20 years with countless huge fish under its belt and now it’s mounted on this sturdy but beautiful reel family. On these reels this proven brake mechanism is better sealed than in its predecessors. These bigger reels are aimed at heavy salmon and saltwater use. The brake power increases very linearly within 2,5 rounds, giving you an impressive 8 kg maximum force. The waterproofing utilises axel seals from German Ina and all bearings are from Japan.
• XO #12+: Extremely robust fly reel for heavy salmon fishing. Balances long and heavy spey rods.
