Veniard Doetail is similar material to male deer's bucktail. Doetails generally have finer, softer and shorter hair than bucktails, which are more well known in fly tying. The actual size of the tail is also smaller than what bucktails are. Great hair material for smaller baitfish patterns for seatrout, saltwater & pike fishing, freshwater streamers and salmon flies. Use for tails and wings.
