Metz Signature Saddle is a rooster saddle for tying dry flies. High-quality and stiff hackle fibers make tying high-floating dry flies easy. In a saddle, the variation in hackle fiber length is smaller than in necks, so we recommend choosing a saddle when the fly tier ties more dry flies of the same size. In these saddles, most of the feathers are best suited for tying #12 - #16 size flies, but there may be slight variations in size between individual saddles.
