Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread is developed with Semperfli Ambassadors Paul Procter and Hans van Klinken specifically for fly tyers. The spool size is 110 m (120 yds.).

The thread has flat profile giving more grip than other threads, available in 12/0 for small Euro nymphs and dries, 8/0 and 6/0. Lightly waxed, easy to split many top fly tyers have dropped their traditional tying threads and moved to Semperfli Classic Waxed thread.

Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread is made from continuous strands of modern manufactured polyester for maximal strength. Pre-waxed and ready to use with dubbing, fur and feather. Holds well on the hook and make adding dubbing and materials to flies simple with easy handling. Polyester based these are strong threads and have large 240 yards spool size.
