Ewing Rooster Saddle is suitable for wet flies. In addition, the feathers with the stiffest barbs can also be used for dry fly hackles. However, this material is at its best in the wings of various streamer patterns. Great applications include flatwing style sea trout flies and other baitfish imitations. Individual feathers can also be mixed into the wings of pike and tube flies.
