With Hi-Viz Ant Body you can make perfect ants instantly. So easy to tie and so effective on the water. Illustrated tying instructions included in each package and shown also below.

Use standard dry fly hook and wrap the entire hook shank with 6/0 thread. To secure foam to the hook lay the ant body over the back of the hook and strap down firmly then wrap a thread band at the bend of the hook. Tie in a fine rubber leg on each side "V" style or use a saddle hackle. Lift the foam up and back over the first body segment then advance your tying thread 2/3rds down the shank and create another body segment. Tie on another pair rubber legs or saddle hackle. Trim the back by making "V" snip.
