Pro Ultra Sonic Disc is a metallic version of Pro Soft Sonic Disc. Metallic construction gives a little bit weight for your fly without destroying the fly's casting abilities.

Sonic Disc is a brand new design for multi purpose usage. Use it in the front of the fly to create turbulence and volume to soft materials, or use on the body of the fly for lifting the wing, hackle etc. a lot of the European Flytiers also use it in the back for better swimming characteristics.

The holes in the disc makes it very easy to lift of the water, but also allow water to flow through the disc adding even more life to the wing. Due to the convex to concave shape of the disc, gives a very generous bore to allow the tier to make "less than perfect" heads, and still get a good result.
