Whiting Spey Hackle Rooster Saddle is suitable for tying traditional spey flies and shrimp imitations. Its barbs are supple and feathers are suitable for front & back & body hackles. There is also softer feathers on the both sides of the saddle which can be used for tails in shrimp and leech flies. Compared to rooster cape, rooster saddle has larger and longer feathers with more limited size variation. Feather length varies between 7 - 13 cm and barb length between 3 - 5 cm.
