Propellerfly Fin-Tube makes it easy to tie hitch flies. The tube has wing which rises the fly easily above the surface.To attach the leader to your fly, you need to cut a hole on the down-side of the tube.

Riffling hitch flies are probably the most enjoyable way to fish salmon. You'll see the fly all the time as it moves on the surface and will see as the salmon takes the fly.
