Frödinflies TTT Nobody Series - This is the new Nobody family. With a bit of weight now tied on new FITS Tungsten Turbo Tube TTT. The TTT is the easy, effective and durable solution. It will both give a bit of weight and open up the fly and give a great broad nicely swimming profile. The fly is fished loose on the leader in front of a short tube that fixes the hook. We suggest that you fish a medium FITS tubing as hook holder and body. Vary the length and the colour of the tubing and you get a flexible and easy way to fish a modern, translucent and extremely effective fly.

Combine them with loose fly bodies and you have a brand-new concept where you can switch weight, pattern and bodies in anyway you like. Selection includes many proven patterns – flies that have taken great fish for decades.

  • Broad translucent profile
  • Tungsten Turbo tube and Micro turbo cone
  • Fished with loose hook
  • Many possible colour combinations
  • Weighted lively swimmer
  • Can be used together with Frödinflies BTT/TTT Loose Bodies Series
  • Please note that the flies with genuine junglecock feathers in the pictures are in reality tied of synthetic substitute which allows you to travel abroad with the flies

Black Green Helmet

This black and green fly is now after more than 20 years a true favourite to me and many of my friends. A classic combination that in this weighted version probably will make the pattern keep on catching great fish. Mikael fishes it with a M or S fl. chartreuse FITS as steering tube. On the clear river that cloudy day it can do miracles.

Highlander

This one of Mikael's patterns with a strong classic influence. In the old days, he fished the Green Highlander a lot. Nowadays this is the sunshine version. A modern deadly sunny day fly. He uses silver, gold or fl. chartreuse FITS as steering tube. Fish it in that white water where the fish hide from the sun, fish it fast, and be prepared for that loop to smash the handle!

In Flames

When the river gets some colour, we want our flies to do the same. In Flames is number one high water fly. Fished deep the TTT is perfect. The TTT version can be fished with a fl. orange or fl. magenta FITS steering tube or to tint it down to a fly for just a bit coloured water or those magic fall days fish it with a black steering tube.

Mikkeli Blue

The special night fly originating from the mighty Alta, based on the colours that stay longest before all gets grey. This version on Mikkeli gives a fat profile and you vary it by using black or fl. magenta FITS steering tube. Personally, Mikael just loves that purple metallic colour. When the light goes away that’s what eyes find in the box.

Nasty Banana

The dirty yellow option on the humus tinted river is a safe card. Many versions on this concept have been tried. Frödin prefers this a bit to the brownish-olive side, it’s discrete but well seen. He fishes it with the gold steering FITS tube, but also with black or bronze. Fish them quite small, seldom over 6-8 cm. On the TTT they are easy to tie and to get the right profile.

Pahtakorva

Mikael's first fish on the large TTT came from the Alta, weighing in at 36 lbs, it was a strong fantastic fish. In the corner of the mouth was that TTT Pahtakorva buried. One day later 38 lbs! The Pahtakorva on the TTT showed to be a great combination. Mikael will fish this in many places. On a light line the small size will fish quite high and the large will add some extra depth to the sinker. Vary the steering tube between black, bronze and fl. orange FITS.

Sillen

A small Sillen on a floater is a deadly sunshine combo. The TTT version makes it possible to search that fast water without the fly skating. A bigger size will cut the white water and find the fish. On the “blue river” it’s the best and even gin clear colour likes Sillen. Fish it with silver, clear, glow or maybe it’s best with that fl. blue FITS steering tube.

The Witch

This evil little fly originates from Black Green Helmet, but is a bit more of a sunshine fly for the clearer river. Fish it as a general standard fly on the greenish river. The Witch has been good to Mikael, given good fishing and big fish. The TTT makes it possible to stay on the floater for the fast water and to get on the intermediate faster. Vary the fly from fl. chartreuse to black FITS steering tube or why not try one in fl. yellow.

Willie Gun

The British standard on the TTT is a general fly for that whiskey coloured water (sounds better than tea). Mikael Frödin prefers it on a cloudy day and varying the steering tube to fl. orange or fl. yellow FITS from black and it will work in a bit more coloured water. Add a gold hook and you have a fly for quite murky conditions. A super fly in many rivers.

Zebra

The white-black-white Zebra is a hotted Black & Silver. A fly with a bit more contrast and attitude. Mikael fishes Zebras as a standard on quite clear water. Vary the styling and fish TTT, Samurai or a fat Classic depending on where you fish. It’s a must in the box. Use the pearl white FITS steering tube for extra contrast or the black, but with this you can harmonize the tube with the conditions.
