The Airflo Delta Clear Intermediate Fly Line is a so-called "glass line," meaning it is clear and transparent in color. This glass line is excellent for fishing for wary fish. This line model works well in both river fishing and stillwater fishing. The line features Airflo's Delta taper, which has a long front taper, a moderately sized body, and a relatively short rear taper. The line profile is well-suited for both underhand and overhead casts. Since the center of mass is not at the tip of the line, it also makes it easier to lift the line from the water for casting.

The line has a Fast Intermediate sink rate, which helps to get flies under the surface film. The line features a polyurethane coating and a monofilament core. Attaching the leader to the fly line is made easy by the micro loop at the tip, and the micro loop at the rear end makes it easy to attach the fly line to the backing.
