The Daiwa Luvias rod series is designed for anglers who demand the perfect tool for fishing. Crafted with SVF Nanoplus blanks, these rods combine lightness, strength, and sensitivity, delivering long casts and maximum lure control.

With X45 construction, blank twist is eliminated for greater casting precision. On the multi-piece rods, V-Joint α plays a crucial role – ensuring a smooth, natural bending curve across all sections, making the rod feel and perform like a one-piece rod.

Every component has been carefully selected. Fuji SiC K-Guides enable long casts with thin braided lines effortlessly, while the lightweight Fuji TVS reel seat maximizes blank contact. The traditional full cork handle provides balance, comfort, and timeless style – ideal for long days of fishing.

Four different models available:

• 8', 2-12 g: An extremely light and sensitive UL rod, perfect for hiking trips and fell fishing. Well-suited for targeting grayling, perch, trout, and Arctic char. Transport length is only 66 cm.

• 9', 5-25 g: A lightweight nine-foot travel rod that is an excellent choice for sea trout trips abroad or mountain fishing in situations where longer casts are required. Transport length is 73 cm.

• 10', 5-25 g: A long-casting and lightweight rod for situations where small and medium-sized lures need to be cast far from the shore. Well-suited for both coastal sea trout fishing and fell fishing on large lakes. Transport length is 81 cm.

• 11'0'', 10-40 g: The heaviest and longest model in the range. A great choice for special situations where casting distance is the rod's most important feature and lure sizes need to be slightly larger than normal. An excellent choice for coastal sea trout fishing from shallow shores, or for river and lake fishing from the bank. Transport length is 88 cm.
