Ewing Dry Fly Saddle is a rooster saddle suitable for tying dry flies. Compared to capes, saddles have less variation in feather barb length, and the feathers are longer on average. Each saddle is a unique natural product, but typically, the barb length accommodates hook sizes #8 - #16.

Two quality grades are available: Premium and Premium+. The main difference between these two grades is the length of the feathers. In Premium+, the feathers are somewhat longer than in Premium.
