• Right jig head weight depends on the water depth, usually 1 gram / 1 meter is a good guideline
• When fishing in windy conditions, choose heavier weight
• For example: When you are fishing 5 meter deep water on calm conditions, choose 5 gram head, and if it is windy, go with 7 - 10 gram head

The regulation enters into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal. The transition periods for fishing products are:

• Lead wire and split shot / detachable weights: 6 months

• Lures and weights weighing less than 50 grams: 3 years

• Lures and weights weighing over 50 grams and up to 1 kilogram: 6 years
