Frödinflies Tri Turbo Bombers - To sight fish for multi sea winter salmon with a free-floating fly you are doing the best of the best there is. Brown Tri Turbo Bomber
The brown bomber is the most common one, the one most people fish and catch fish on. When we say brown it also includes the dark grey common versions. Perhaps the brown or natural grey is best on clear rivers. Frödin prefers the brown on the dark cloudy day when it blends in best. Sometimes orange/brown one has proven to be good on humus conditions.
Green Tri Turbo Bomber
The green bomber is Mikael's favourite. It has given so many great fish. It sure has got its special place in surface fly boxes. In fact, Mikael would say that together with the black simple fly it’s the one he prefers for most of his surface fishing. Fish them from small to medium size, meaning from 2-4 cm. Always try to use a light single hook.
Orange Tri Turbo Bomber
That the salmon react different depending on the colour of the bomber is obvious. Sometimes the orange bomber has fooled fish when the discrete ones has not been working. A must in the box. For Mikael it's like a spring bomber to fish as first choice when there is a bit of colour to the river. Don’t be shy, it can be fished quite big.
White Tri Turbo Bomber
White flies are fished too seldom, way too seldom. The white bomber is no exception. White against a light sky gives a diffuse impression. Fish it freely and it will appear very diffuse, pull it a little, create a wake and the take will come like an explosion on the surface. Mikael thinks the white bomber is among the best. The little magenta is not seen by the fish, just makes it easier to follow.
