The Vision Hero² Nymphing fly rod is a rod series specifically designed for nymph fishing. The rods feature a medium-fast, very pleasant action and they are highly versatile for Euro nymphing.

Important features have been incorporated into the design of the Hero² nymph rods to make Euro nymphing more effective and enjoyable. The second guide from the tip is always a double-leg snake guide, which prevents thin leader lines from tangling around the rod tip. The reel seat is down-locking, which helps the rod balance optimally with the reel. This allows for lighter handling and a better feel for the drift while fishing.

All rods are four-piece and thus easy to transport. Each rod is delivered with a Cordura-covered rod tube, making it easy to carry the rod for example in a car.

Three different models available:

• #3, 10'6": A good general choice for nymph fishing. This rod is suitable for most nymph anglers for versatile use, and its soft action protects thin tippets from breaking. The rod has the sensitivity to cast even lighter nymphs, but also the power to fight large fish when utilizing a low rod angle and the power found in the butt section. Suitable for everything from grayling fishing to trout and even small salmon.
• #4, 10'6": A slightly stronger blank provides confidence in fish-fighting situations, for example, when fishing in larger river systems. This is also an excellent choice for versatile fishing. It casts most sizes of Euro nymphs and even weighted mini streamers with ease.
• #5, 10'6": The strongest model. This rod is a great choice for those who need plenty of power from a nymph rod and use slightly thicker tippets, heavier flies, and fish in large fast-flowing rivers. A good choice for streamer nymphing for larger trout or nymph fishing for salmon.
