Schlappen is the material for big fish imitations. For example, Schlappen is used in the Marabou Deceiver -fly as a tail material. For one fly 4-6 feathers is a good amount.

Schlappens can be used also as a body hackle in salmon and tube flies. Schlappen has soft and long webby fibres and will create lively flies. It will work also in the slow water.

Feathers are 12 - 18 cm long. Each package contains about 6 grams feathers. Because schlappen is a product of the nature, color tones may vary. Please note that black color might not be totally black and contain natural shine.
